Brent is one of the few Supreme Court Certified Capital Case defense attorneys in the Tri-County area. He has two decades of experience litigating in numerous counties in the area and has won jury trials in high-profile homicide cases, drug cases, arson, robbery, burglary, and other violent crimes cases.
Brent recently served as the 1st Assistant District Attorney in Fayette County. He has now resumed criminal defense cases, adding his experience from prosecution end of courtroom proceedings to his areas of knowledge.
Brent Eric Peck is a lifelong resident of Fayette County. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and is a 1988 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where he obtained a B.A. degree in Pre-Law as a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Brent then attended the Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law where he obtained his J.D. in 1992. As a law student, Brent was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors fraternity and served as its Vice President. He also served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Program as an Associate Justice and in 1991 progressed to the final four in the National Administrative Law Moot Court competition. Brent was also a member of the Federalist Society and played outside center and winger on the Ohio Northern University rugby team. In recognition of his outstanding achievement in the study of law, Brent was listed in the 10th and 11th editions of “Who's Who Among American Law Students.”
